OBIT JONES, CLEO STAFFORD

JONES, Cleo Stafford, "Casey", 78, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993. He was a retired conductor with the Norfolk & Western Railway. Mr. Jones was a member of Roanoke Lodge #197 B.P.O.E. and the Melrose Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife, Hilda M. Jones; one brother, F. E. Jones, Palatine, Ill.; one sister, Dorothy J. Elliott, Salem; one son, Donald S. Jones; one daughter, Brenda J. Saunders; one stepdaughter, Vicki M. Puckett, all of Roanoke; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Sherwood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Melrose Baptist Church, Phase II. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
