DRUNKEN DRIVERS SHOULD BE BRANDED

WHY ARE habitual alcohol offenders repeatedly caught behind the wheel of a car? Because no one in our state and local governments will establish tough laws that apply to everyone!

Why shouldn't we all have to show a valid driver's license to prove age, whether we are 60 or 16? And if a person has once been convicted of driving under the influence, brand an obvious code on that person's license, like the scarlet letters of centuries ago, making it illegal and impossible for alcohol to be purchased anywhere, anytime!

Also, make laws just as tough on those who purchase for minors or those with prior convictions for driving under the influence. PAIGE CONNER ROANOKE
