Kari L. Keen and Scott D. Atha are engaged and planning to be married July 17, 1993, in Radford. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Keen, Jr. She graduated from Christiansburg High School and is attending Virginia Tech. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atha II, of Occoquan, Va. He graduated from Woodbridge High School and is also attending Virginia Tech. He is employed by Management Systems Laboratories.
