COLEMAN-MAXEY

Kimberly Ann Maxey and Ashby Walker Coleman were married June 6, 1993, in First Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, Va., with Rev. Robert D. Smith officiating. The reception was held at Cave Spring Lions Club. The maid of honor was Anne Meredith Coleman, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Donna Y. Maxey, sister-in-law of bride, Wendy C. Brocks and Karen S. Carter, friends of bride. Charles T. Meredith, uncle of groom, served as best man. Ushers were Stuart L. Meredith, cousin of groom, and John Maxey, brother of bride. The guestbook was attended by Jennifer F. Straub, friend of bride. Soloist was Stephanie A. Bradford, friend of bride. The bride wore a white satin gown with sequins, pearls and lace trimmed train. She carried a silk flower arrangement of white roses and baby's breath. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Maxey of Roanoke. She graduated from William Byrd High School and is employed by First Union, Wareneck, Va. The groom is the son of Mrs. Martha M. Nowland, Wareneck, Va., and Mr. Aylett B. Coleman, Norfolk, Va. He graduated from Midlothian High and Hampton Sydney College. He is employed by WXLK Radio Station. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a cruise to the Bahamas.
