EDWARDS-COFFEY
Patricia "Anne" Coffey and Evans Greenwood Edwards were married June 19,
1993, in St. John's Episcopal Church with Reverend Thomas O'Dell officiating.
The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Patrick Henry Hotel. The
maid of honor was Jenni Reitz of Matthews, N. C. Bridesmaids were Clarissa
Edwards and Jocelyn Edwards, sisters of groom, Jennifer Brillhart and Ginny
Briggs. Christopher Edwards of Newtown, Pa., brother of groom, served as best
man. Ushers were Charles Coffey, brother of bride, Derek Boggs, Ernest Maddy,
and Henry Sauer. The guestbook was attended by the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr.
and Mrs. Ronald Wade. The bride wore a white silk Bupioni twill sheath gown
designed by Christos. The gown featured a bateau neckline, deep square back,
tulip sleeves and deep scallops on the skirt and cathedral length train. Braid
and pearl braiding outlined the edges of the gown. It was embellished with
reembroidered, beaded, Alencon lace with bow knots on sleeves and train. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Coffey of Mechanicsville, Va.
She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and James Madison University. The
groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. R. Thomas Edwards III of Roanoke, Va. He
graduated from Patrick Henry High School and Washington and Lee University.
The newlyweds will live in New Haven, Connecticut, where the bride will be
employed by The Limited, Inc, and the groom will attend Yale Law School. The
wedding trip is a surprise trip to parts tropical.
