KYLE-BASHAM

The marriage of Miss Amy LeighBasham and Dr. Henry Jay Kyle took place on June 19, 1993 at six o'clock at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg. Rev. Charles McHose performed the candlelight ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Basham of Christiansburg. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kyle of Hydes, Maryland.

The maid of honor was Miss Kristi Gunter, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Diane Worringham, MissKathy Dawson, Miss Hollie Millirons and Dr. Linda Richards, all friends of the bride. The flowergirl was Miss Emily Vaught, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Mr. Steve Smith, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Jason Basham, brother of the bride, Mr. Shane Hensley, Mr. Corey Hartsoe, Mr. Ted Amos, Dr. John Currin and Dr. Chris Kaloski, all friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Mr. Justin Vaught, cousin of the bride.

Organist was Mr. Carter Edmondson and pianist was Mrs. Charlotte Smith. Miss Kristi Linkous, Mr. Steven Blake and Miss Melissa Gunter were vocalists. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Charlotte Reed.

The reception was held at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Christiansburg.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Radford University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, and has recently received his commission as Captain in the United States Army.

Following a surprise wedding trip, the couple will be stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
