MAYS-WILLIAMSON

Anne Marie Williamson and Walter David Mays, Jr. were united in marriage on June 5, 1993, at West Salem Baptist Church in Salem, Va. The ReverendMichael L. Slaughter performed theceremony. The reception was held at the Patrick Henry Hotel.

The maid of honor was Mary Beth Williamson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Tricia Cronin, Sherri McBride, and Dora Kincaid, friends of the bride.

The best man was Glen Argabright, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were John Mays and Christ Mays, both brothers of the groom; Martin Keister, friend of the groom.

The bride wore a sheath style gown with a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and Lady Di roses. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward James Williamson, Jr. of Springfield, Va. She is a graduate of West Springfield High School and Virginia Tech, and is employed by Allstate Insurance Co.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Shirley Mays and the late Rev. Walter David Mays, Sr. He is a graduate of Turner Ashby High School and Virginia Tech, and is employed by Allstate Insurance Co.

The newlyweds will make their home in Roanoke, Va.
