OVERBAY-HUFFMAN
Anne H. Huffman and Riley Overbay were married June 19, 1993, at Vinton
Baptist Church. Dr. Bill Ross performed the ceremony. The reception was held
at Spurs Western Club, Civic Mall, with live music by White Horse Band.
Attendants were Gina Huffman and Nicole Huffman, daughters of the bride,
Melissa Overbay-Garrison, daughter of the groom, Joseph Overbay and Jason
Overbay, sons of the groom. Ushers were Terry St. Clair, friend of the bride
and groom, Bob Magnotti, brother-in-law of the bride, and Johnny Ritter,
nephew of the bride. The guest book was attended by Bonnie Magnotti, sister of
the bride. Wedding director was Mark Wolford, friend of the bride and groom.
Vocalists were Valerie Storey, niece of the groom, Euna Overbay Deaton, sister
of the groom, and Mike Whitlow, a friend. Organist was Lois Smith. Sound was
by Mark Hough. The flowers were by Melinda Amos. The bride's gown was an ivory
satin highlow gown with hand embroidered sequins and pearls, full length
sleeves, and matching hat. She carried a cascading bouquet of red anthuriums
with white baby's breath and shimmering pearl insets. The bride is a daughter
of Floyd O. Heath, of Vinton, Va., and Sue Brant, of Fairfax, Va. Her
stepparents are Clyde J. Brant, of Fairfax, Va., and Roberta Heath, of Vinton,
Va. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School, Vinton, Va. She is a
REALTOR with Boone & Company, REALTORS, in Roanoke. The groom is a son of
Arnold R. and Annie M. Overbay, of Troutville, Va. He graduated from Marion
High School in Marion, Va., and is the owner of Overbay Construction, Co. in
Roanoke/Troutville. Special thanks to Joyce Gearhart, Willie Mae Grace,
Ilse-Marie Morgan, Tracy Overstreet, Kelly Proffit, Mary Stamper, and Denise
St.Clair. The newlyweds will live in the Town of Vinton after a honeymoon to
Hawaii and Las Vegas.
