SOWERS-DAVIDSON

Deleigh Davidson and Kevin Lane Sowers were united in marriage on March 14, 1993 in Lynn Haven Baptist Church. Pastor John Ott of Parkway Weselyan Church was the officiating clergyman.

Star Leigh Davidson, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Thebridesmaids were Alison Boyd, LoriSemones, and Denise Teague, friends of the bride; and Tiffani Siolka, pen pal of the bride since 3rd grade. Daryl Sowers, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. William Sowers served as his son's best man. The ushers were Jimmy Sowers and Darrell Sowers, brothers of the groom; Jackie Sowers, cousin of the groom; and Matthew Hartman, cousin of the groom. Andrew Sowers, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.

Deleigh is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh C. Davidson of Vinton, Va. She is a graudate of William Byrd High School and Radford Unversity, and is a teacher at Oak Ridge High School. Kevin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Sowers of Longwood, Fla. He is a gradute of Lake Brantley High School and RadfordUniversity, and is employed by USAir.

Following their wedding trip to Banff, Alberta, Canada, the newlyweds reside in Orlando, Florida.

The wedding was originally planned for March 13, but was postponed tilSunday, March 14 due to the blizzard of '93. The couple wishes everyone who planned to attend could have and express special thanks to those who risked the bad weather.
