VAUGHAN-SAGE

Lisa Dawn Sage and Samuel Ray Vaughan II were married June 19, 1993, in Red Hill Church of the Brethren. Rev. Ernest Deyerle performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the church fellowship hall and the Rocky Mount Moose Lodge. The matron of honor was Kim Prillaman, a friend. Bridesmaids were Vicky Hall, Valerie Reid, sisters of the bride, Tammy Vaughan, Beth Trees, sisters of the groom, Amy Colgrove,Caroline Overfelt, Belinda Robertson, Lisa Rutledge, and Tonia Wood, all friends. Flowergirls were Anna Trees and Stephanie Trees, nieces of the groom. The best man was Sam Vaughan, father of the groom. Ushers were Mark Bussey, Rabon Bussey, Greg Chitwood, Mike Fitts, Al Flora, David Overton, Jeff Powell, Jay Prillaman, and Steve Wright. Ringbearer was Joey Trees, nephew of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Jennifer Cundiff and Cathie Baker. The bride is a daughter of Mr. Glen H. Sage and Mrs. George E. Jenkins, of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and from Ferrum College. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Vaughan, of Rocky Mount. He graduated from Franklin County High School and Virginia College and is employed by Structural Software. After the wedding trip to Smith Mountain Lake, the newlyweds will live in Franklin County.
