WILSON-OGINZ

Jennifer Gwyn Oginz and Jimmie Don Wilson were married May 15, 1993, at Fox Ridge, the home of the bride's parents, in Bent Mountain, Virginia. The reception immediately followed the ceremony. Officiating was The Honorable Edward S. Kidd, General District Court Judge.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Dawn Darell Hrynyshyn of Baltimore, Maryland, close friend of the bride and groom. The best man was Harry Koutrouvelis of McLean, Virginia, close friend of the bride and groom. The readers were Ms. Allison Tucker Williams of Suffolk, Virginia, Mr. Udell Neal Brenner of Richmond, Virginia, and Mrs. Lynn Sear Vest of Charlottesville, Virginia, close friends of the bride and groom. The guestbook was attended by Richa Leann Wilson of Springfield, Oregon, sister of the groom.

Musical accompaniment before and during the wedding ceremony was performed by Mrs. Heather Simmons of Roanoke, Virginia, on flute, and her brother, Mr. Casey Hash of Elk Creek, Virginia, on guitar.

The bride's gown of beautiful ivory taffeta was adorned with schiffli lace, beaded and sequined bodice with short poof sleeves that added an illusion of sophistication. The full traditional skirt was trimmed with schiffli edging which added an illusion of grandeur to this lovely Eden gown. Her headpiece consisted of ivory lace topped with an ivory bow. She carried a cascading bouquet of bridal pink roses, cymbidium orchids, star of Bethlehem, white buttons, white freesia, and ivy.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seth P. Oginz of Bent Mountain, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Malvena Rein Oginz of Alexandria, Virginia, the late Mr. Monroe Sidney Oginz, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kenneth Dyer. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and graduated from Radford University with a Master of Science Degree in Psychology. She is presently taking classes at George Mason University working toward becoming a licensed professional counselor. The bride is employed by Rappahannock Area Community Services in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her office is located in Stafford, Virginia, where she is a child and adolescent counselor.

The groom is a son of Mr. Richard Jackson Wilson of Weston, Missouri and Mrs. Karen Sue Lemmon Walker of Warrenton, Virginia. He is the grandson of Mrs. Grace Wilson of Rushville, Missouri, the late Mr. Chester Wilson, Mrs. Dorothy Lemmon of Weston, Missouri, and the late Mr. Lee Roy Lemmon. He is a graduate of Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia, attended Radford University and is presently attending Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The groom is employed by Seventh Heaven Landscaping, Inc. in Madison, Virginia.

The newlyweds will live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, after their honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A very special thank you to Jeffrey Monroe Oginz, brother of the bride, who designed, engineered, and built, with the help of D.G., Jeff, Jim, John, and Tom; the beautiful gazebo in which they were married.
