SHRADER ANNIVERSARY
Bowen and Sadie Shrader celebrated their 60th anniversary on June 17. The
celebration and dinner was held at their home and was hosted by their
children. The couple was married June 17, 1933, in Tazewell, Va. They have
lived in Roanoke for 32 years. Mrs. Shrader is the former Sadie D. Taylor of
Broadford, Va. The couple have five children, Elwood A. Shrader, Ruckersville,
Virgil R. Shrader, Kingsport, Tenn., Hazel Hamm, Lynchburg, Imogene Parker,
Roanoke, and Karl L. Shrader, Friendswood, Texas; ten grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. They are both retired and belong to Fairview United
Methodist Church and the Caroloa Chorus.
