OBIT PATE, MAUDE PARKS
PATE, Maude Parks, 96, of Roanoke, died Friday, June 18, 1993. She was the
widow of Judge K. A. Pate, who was a Juvenile and Domestic Relations Judge.
Mrs. Pate had been a member of First Baptist Church since 1932, and was a
devoted member of the Love Bible Sunday School class. She was a retired
stenographer for the Veterans Administration. Surviving are one daughter,
Delia Gene (D G) Wilson, Upland, Calif.; one son & daughter-in-law, Hap and
Nancy Pate, Miami, Fla.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one
sister, Ruth Dietrick, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers the family requests that
memorials be made to Roanoke United Methodist Home. A graveside service will
be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Dr. Charles G.
Fuller. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke.
