ET TU, MARY SUE?

I'M GLAD the first order of business for Mary Sue Terry is the issue of a five-day waiting period for the purchase of handguns.

She made my mind up real fast that she is a clone of Gov. Wilder. Terry and her liberal friends never let up.

There is already a computer-check system in Virginia, as well as a one-gun-a-month law effective July 1, but that isn't enough. It appears that Terry and her liberal supporters all the way to the White House want total confiscation, as well as the abolishment of the Second Amendment.

Instead of obsession with gun control, she should focus on unemployment, getting off the road the drunks who have recently ravaged Roanoke, and cleaning up the Kim-Stan dump in Selma, which she moved on at a tortoise pace while the residents of Selma had to take the matter in their own hands.

Mary Sue Terry for governor? No way! MARTIN CARLE ROANOKE
