McABEE, Rebecca Lynn, 33, of Roanoke, died Sunday, June 20, 1993, in the
Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McAbee was a member of the Valleyview Baptist
Church, Roanoke. She was born October 13, 1959 in Roanoke, a daughter of
Barton C. McAbee, of Senatha, Mo. and Helen Gillespie Patterson of Roanoke.
Others surviving include one son, Joshua Kelley; one daughter, Melissa Kelley,
both of Max Meadows; five brothers, David McAbee, Charles McAbee Jr., Michael
W. McAbee, Richard L. McAbee, all of Roanoke, and Bill Downy, Houston, Texas;
three sisters, Barbara J. McAbee, Roanoke, Patricia A. Martin, Max Meadows,
and Helen Downy, Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m.
Wednesday, June 23, 1993 from the graveside in the Collierstown Presbyterian
Church Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Curtis Howell. The family will receive
friends on Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
