Jessica Lord, one of the top junior golfers in Tennessee, has signed a letter of intent to play golf for Radford University next season.

Lord, a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, carries a 6 handicap and has won more than a half-dozen junior titles. During her junior year, she finished seventh in the Tennessee State High School Golf Tournament and was the medalist in district qualifying.

"Jessica has good tournament experience," said Matt Sutphin, Radford's coach. "Her signing is another step in the building process for our young program. . . . I feel we've established the foundation for a very successful women's golf team."
