OBIT FERGUSON, THOMAS J.

FERGUSON, Thomas J., 89, of Roanoke, formerly of Hershberger Rd., died Monday, June 21, 1993. He was retired from American Bridge Co. Surviving are his wife, Lillian M. Ferguson; son, Dr. Jerry T. Ferguson of Midlothian; grandson, Preston R. Ferguson, Washington, D. C.; and sisters, Mrs. Nira Lawrence of Charlottesville; Mrs. Elma Custard of Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. Ruby LaPrade of Roanoke. Services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. H. Kelly Dampeer Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
