OBIT BROOKMAN, RALPH NELSON

BROOKMAN, Ralph Nelson, 65, of Roanoke, died Sunday, June 20, 1993. He was a member of Connelly Memorial Baptist Church, was a retired employee of John W. Hancock Jr. Inc. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Brookman; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Bobby All of Nashville, Tenn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Paula Brookman of Roanoke; one brother, Roy Brookman of New Castle; one sister, Lucille Sweeney of Roanoke; four grandsons, Jimmy and Mark All of Nashville, Jeremy and Zachery Brookman of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, with the Rev. G. William Foster Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
