OBIT LONG, RUTH WELCHER

LONG, Ruth Welcher, 82, of Elliston, died Sunday, June 20, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Anna B. Winfrey, Roanoke; son, Timothy L. Long of Elliston; a sister, Eunice Sink, Shawsville, two grandchildren, Steven Winfrey, Julie Winfrey, both of Roanoke; three great-grandchildren, Timothy Long Jr., Anna Marie Rickman, Christina Winfrey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at 10 a.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Interment will be at Halls Methodist Church Cemetery, Ironto. Friends may call Lotz Salem Chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
