BACKGROUND CHECK WORKING IN VIRGINIA

ONCE AGAIN the great mystic pollster in the sky has struck with his anti-gun poll, but no one knows where he came from or who was polled.

Why doesn't the Roanoke Times & World-News tell the truth about the Brady Bill and other waiting periods? They won't apply in Virginia, because we have the instant background check. The National Rifle Association backs this because it has helped police catch criminals and those who try to help criminals buy guns illegally. I saw this in action and it works.

The newspaper has the responsibility to report the news as it is, not as they would like it to be. GEORGE W. BUSH SR. ROANOKE
