INVOLVEMENT WAS NO `TAKEOVER'

NUMEROUS articles recently about attempts by the so-called religious right to "take over" the Republican Party are but one more example of either shallow reporting or anti-Christian media bias.

No journalist would report, or even suggest, that African-Americans have "taken over" the Democratic Party, simply because Ron Brown, a black, served as its chairman. They wouldn't say such a thing because it is racist and bigoted.

It is equally bigoted to suggest that conservative, pro-family Christians are trying to take over the Republican Party simply because they have chosen to exercise the same rights of citizenship that are available to everyone else in this country. Shame on the media for their bigotry and unabashed attempts to drive pro-family Christians out of the public-policy process because we don't share their politically correct left-wing agenda!
