OBIT POWELL, KERMIT

POWELL, Kermit, 87, of Roanoke, died Monday, June 21, 1993, at South Roanoke Nursing Home. He was a member of the Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church and was a retired Public Relations Director from Continental Homes. Surviving are his wife, Louise See Powell; a son and daughter-in-law, Kermit II and Bonnie Powell of Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann P. and Ralph N. Greenway of Vinton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Powell of Iowa. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. T. R. King officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral Home. Arrangements are by Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
