OBIT OSBORNE, LUTHER R.

OSBORNE, Luther R., age 95, of 920 Old Country Club Road, Roanoke, died Monday, June 21, 1993. He was a retired employee of Norfolk & Western Railroad. Survivors are two devoted friends, Inez and James W. Booker, Roanoke; one daughter, Ocie Flowe, Charlotte, N. C.; one sister, Carrie Morris, Charlotte, N. C.; a brother, Richard Osborne, Charlotte, N. C.; three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fizer's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. in Charlotte, N. C. at the Long & Son Funeral Home, 2312 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte, N.C. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Charlotte, N. C.
