OBIT SMITH, GEORGIA BUCKNER

SMITH, Georgia Buckner, 67, of Roanoke, and formerly of Ferrum, died Monday, June 21, 1993. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Kenneth Hill, White Pine, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. and Linda Smith of Roanoke; five sisters, Marie Zunka of Front Royal, Nancy Mullin and Iris Wade of Roanoke, Garnette Walter of Lynchburg, and Willie Mae Johnson of Wilmington, Del. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from Lynch Chapel, Rocky Mount. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Boones Mill. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
