OBIT AKERS, PERRY LEE
AKERS, Perry Lee, 96, of Willis, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at
Montgomery Regional Hospital. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law,
Verlie and Aldean Akers of Willis, Vernon and Marna Akers of Snowsville; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Vernie and Martin Phillips of Willis, Vestle and
Thomas Hinkley of Christiansburg; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5
great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the
Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will be
in White Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m.
Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
