OBIT DUNCAN, ROBERT LEEMAN
DUNCAN, Robert Leeman, of Radford, passed away Monday, June 22, 1993. He
was a veteran of WWII, a member of VFW Post #776 in Radford, was a retired
Iron Worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Local #697 in Roanoke.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hedge Duncan, Radford; two sons and
daughter-in-law, Robert (Bob) and Thaun Duncan, Mechanicsville, and Michael
Duncan of Charlottesville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and John
Ferrell of Partlow, Jeanette and Charles Asbury and Gladease Randall, all of
Saltville; three grandchildren, Laurie, Jennifer and Andrew Duncan, all of
Mechanicsville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, 1993 at 11
a.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home with Pastor Glennard
Quesenberry and Dr. Tony Brescia officiating. Interment will follow in West
View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be
made to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, Radford, Va., or
to the Va. Dept. of Game & Inland Fisheries - Endangered Species Fund,
Richmond, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday and
one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins
Funeral Home in Radford.
