ARTS COUNCIL HEAD TO QUIT

Terri Lynn Cornwell, executive director of The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge, has announced her resignation effective June 30. She will remain project director for Blueprint 2000, the community cultural plan being coordinated by The Arts Council.

Cornwell joined The Arts Council in June 1992. Susan Jennings, the council's director of programs and services, has been named interim executive director.
