RAILROAD HISTORY EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY AT MUSEUM

An exhibit on railroad history in Tazewell County and Southwest Virginia will be on display through August at Historic Crab Orchard Museum and Pioneer Park.

It includes 200 objects dating to the region's first rail service in 1888. Most are from private collections and are being exhibited for the first time.

Many relate to the former Norfolk & Western Railway, now Norfolk Southern Corp., including its Pocahontas and Powhatan Arrow lines.
