OBIT ROWLAND, LEONARD F. ("L.F.")
ROWLAND, Leonard F. ("L.F."), 63, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993
in a local hospital. He was a self-employed plumber and was an Air Force
veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member and Past Master of Vinton
Lodge #204 A.F.& A.M., the Roanoke Consistory of Scottish Rite Bodies and
Kazim Shrine Temple. He was also a member of the Vinton Moose Lodge and
AMVETS. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Claire Belle Basham
Rowland. Surviving are his wife, Connie Susan Rowland; three daughters and
sons-in-law, Barbara and Terry Fifer, Bedford, Diane and Norris Bramlett,
Vinton, Yvonne Rowland, Vinton; two grandchildren, Norris Bramlett II,
Brittany Fifer; two brothers, Charles E. Rowland, Hardy, Henry B. Rowland Jr.,
Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m.
Friday, June 25 with the Rev. Philip E. Day officiating. Burial with Masonic
graveside services conducted by Vinton Lodge #204 A.F.& A.M. will be in
Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
