OBIT MEADOR, HAYNES WILSON
MEADOR, Haynes Wilson, 77, of Roanoke County, died Wednesday, June 23,
1993. He was a retired conductor from Norfolk & Western Railway with 36 years
service. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, W. Jeffrey and Robin D.
Meador, Blacksburg; his granddaughters, Regina Ierardi and husband, Paul,
Catherine Meador, Kristi Meador; three great-grandchildren, Dustin and Shane
Ierardi, Kayla Meador; four brothers, Jimmy Meador, Roanoke County, Claude
Meador, Raymond Meador, both of Roanoke, Pete Meador, Burnt Chimney; six
sisters, Ruth Truman, Burnt Chimney, Boo Swain, Anne Meador, Tab Meador,
Florence Sink, Maxine Mitchell, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held
at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Friday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John
Hopkins officiating. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
