CRIME LINE

Thefts from backyard sheds and garages are the subject of this month's Crime Line.

Within the past three months, several sheds and garages have been broken into on Greenbrier, Dale, Morton and Montrose avenues in Southeast Roanoke. The stolen items include lawn mowers, chain saws, electric sanders, routers, drills, skill saws, socket sets, wrenches and hand tools.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with these and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
