METS DOWN MARTINSVILLE

Preston Wilson, the stepson of former major-leaguer Mookie Wilson, went 4-for-4 with two homers and six RBI as the Kingsport Mets outslugged the Martinsville Phillies 14-8 on Wednesday night at Hooker Field in Appalachian League baseball.

Jeffrey Key provided much of the offense for the Phillies, going 2-for-4 with a three-run homer. Tim Cornish added a solo home run for Martinsville.
