OBIT VOLTZ, WILLIAM EDWARD
VOLTZ, William Edward, 56, of Va. Beach, died Wednesday, June 23, 1993 at
his residence. He was born in Chicago, Ill. He was Vice-President of Marketing
& Sales at Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Lutheran church
and the National Freight Traffic Association; former president of Birmingham
Country Club, Birmingham, Mich., Town Point Club, Norfolk and the Cavalier
Country Club, Va. Beach. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Francis Voltz, Va.
Beach; one son, Thomas Edward Voltz, Atlanta, Ga.; mother, Susan E. Voltz,
Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Robert Voltz and Paul Voltz, both of Chicago,
Ill.; one granddaughter, Erin Voltz; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial
service will be held Saturday, June 26, 1993, at 11 a.m. at Kings Grant
Presbyterian Church, Va. Beach, with Rev. J. Alan Johnson officiating.
Memorial service handled by Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel No
visitation is planned. The family will receive friends at the church following
the service. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 1993 at the First
United Methodist Church (Heartt Chapel), 1032 Maple, Downers Grove, Ill.
Burial will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, Ill. Memorial
contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 360 Southport Cir.
