OBIT JANNEY, LEONARD H.

JANNEY, Leonard H., 55, of Athens, Ala., and formerly of Roanoke, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at his home. He was an employee of Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, Athens, Ala., and a member of Widows' and Sons' Masonic Lodge #60, A.F.&A.M., Charlottesville. Surviving are his wife, Shirley S. Janney; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debbie Janney, Decatur, Ala.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Gary Barta, Benbrook, Texas; Donna and Robert Vaughan, Benbrook, Texas, Michelle and Byron Taylor, Granbury, Texas; five grandchildren, Jonathan and Jacqueline Barta, Candace and Amy Vaughan, and Amanda Taylor. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 1993, with the Rev. Robert Lanier officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 554, Roanoke, VA 24003-0554. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
