BIKE CLUB PLANS MEETINGS

The New River Valley Bicycle Club will hold meetings on Tuesday and July 27 at 7 p.m. in the community room of the Blacksburg library on Draper Road.

The club has added to its activities a women-only alternative ride for new and novice riders.

Riders will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Tech chapel.

Distance will be from 12 to 15 miles at an easy pace. Participants must wear a bicycle helmet.

This ride will take place on last Wednesdays.
