OBIT ORANGE, ELLA ANDERSON

ORANGE, Ella Anderson, 81, of Bedford, died Thursday, June 24, 1993, in Lewis-Gale Hospital. She was born in Bedford County on October 1, 1911, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Anderson and Ada Kennedy Anderson. She was the widow of Freeman Collins Orange Sr. and was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one sister, Lula Gray, Bedford; three nieces, Ella Epes, Waynesboro, Audrey Gregg, Bedford, and Julia Wilkinson, El Toro, Calif.; eight great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery Sunday, June 27, 1993, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Francis B. Avery Jr. officiating. Friends may call at anytime at Carder-Tharp Funeral Home or at the residence of Audrey Gregg, 1108 Galax Street in Bedford.
