OBIT LYNN, IKE S.

LYNN, Ike S., 70, of Buena Vista, passed away Friday, June 25, 1993. Mr. Lynn went to be with the Lord early Friday evening. He was the son of the late James F. Lynn and Theresa C. Lynn. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond A. Lynn and Jack C. Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Wilmer Lynn; three sons, Gregory S. Lynn, Paul A. Lynn and Troy D. Wells, all of Buena Vista; two daughters, Sandra K. Chittum of Fairfield and Paula L. Irvine of Lexington. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Michelle Lynn, Jason Irvine, Shonna Lynn and Craig Lynn; one sister, Ruby Smals of Buena Vista; two brothers, William (Bill) Lynn of Roanoke and John (Johnny) R. Lynn of Buena Vista. He was a member of Calvery Brethren Church and taught a Men's Bible Class for 36 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at the Calvery Brethren Church with the Rev. Kenneth Teague and Larry Coleman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Calvery Brethren Church Building Fund or Parking Lot Fund. The family will receive friends at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, and other times at home.
