SUMMER POTTERY CLASSES AT TECH

Three summer pottery classes are being offered at Squires Student Center at Virginia Tech.

"Pottery" is for adults and will teach how to use the equipment. It will meet Mondays 7-9 p.m. from July 12 to Aug. 23. Cost is $50 plus $10 for materials.

"Raku Workshop" for adults will be held Wednesdays, 7-9:30 p.m., from July 7 through Aug. 18. Cost is $50 plus $10 for materials.

"Beginning Pottery" is open to ages 8-12. It is an introductory class during which students will create a pot from beginning to end. The sessions will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 a.m.-noon, Monday through July 19, except July 5. Cost is $40 plus $5 for materials.
