WYTHEVILLE OPTOMETRIST HONORED

Dr. Gordon W. Jennings has been named Virginia Optometrist of the Year by the Virginia Optometric Association.

This is the association's highest award, and is given to the optometrist judged as having devoted the most among his peers to his profession, patients and community during the year. Jennings also has been nominated for consideration as Southern and National Optometrist for 1993.

Jennings specializes in contact lens, occupational vision and diseases and abnormal vision conditions.

He is a past president of the association.

The association represents more than 85 percent of all practicing doctors of optometry in Virginia.
