Mr. and Mrs. Algie L. Light of Callaway, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Gloria Dawn Bowman, to Benjamin Stuart Beagle, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin S. Beagle, Jr. of Roanoke. The groom is employed by Appalachian PowerCompany as an Engineering Technologist Supervisor. The bride is also employed by Appalachian Power Company as a Marketing and Customer Service Representative.

A September wedding is planned at the groom's parents home.
