Anissa C. Johnston and John F. Jarvis III are engaged and planning to be married in Newport News on November 6, 1993. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Johnston. She graduated from William Byrd High School and is a December graduate of Longwood College. She is employed by Ewald-Clark, Inc. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Jarvis, Jr., of Yorktown. He graduated from York High School and is employed by Flowers Bakery and American DJ's of Newport News.
