ALMOND-BAIN

Valerie Danieley Bain and John Finley Almond were united in marriage June 26, 1993 at Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church. Rev. Prince Edward Thornton, Jr., uncle of the groom, officiated the ceremony.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her son, Eugene William Wright, Jr.Melissa Jean Clark, daughter of the bride, served as maid of honor. George William Almond, Sr., father of the groom, was the best man.

The ushers were Louis EdwardAlmond, George William Almond, Jr., Robert Allen Almond, all brothers to the groom; and William Daniel Thornton, cousin to the groom.

Beverly D. Thornton, aunt of the groom, was the photographer.

Valerie is the daughter of Evelyn D. Quick of Montvale and the late Darnell D. Danieley. John is the son of GeorgeWilliam and Joyce Thornton Almond of Boones Mill.

John and Valerie are employed by Valley Motorsport. The couple will reside in Bedford County.
