Chrissy Farnam and Rodney Creese were married April 10, 1993, at Old Economy, Ambridge, Pa., with Rev. Jack T. Patrick officiating. The reception was held at Embassy Suites Hotel. A reception also was held at Vinton War Memorial on May 2, 1993. The matron of honor was Valerie Steineke, sister of the bride. The best man was Howard C. Creese, father of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Ollie and Barbara Farnam of Vinton. She graduated from Staunton River High School and Virginia Western Community College and attended Radford University. The bride is employed by Blue Cross of Western Pa. The groom is the son of Howard and Karen Creese of Aliquippa, Pa. He graduated from Hopewell High School and from Penn State University. He is employed by Precision Laser & Instrument, Inc. The newlyweds will live in Pittsburgh, Pa., after a wedding trip to Florida.
