Pierce from Salem, Va.; Lori B. Hebson from Birmingham, Ala.; and Terry B. Chilton from Montgomery, Ala.
The bride is the granddaughter of Martha E. Barr, of Salem, Va., and Cynthia Britts, of Roanoke, Va.
The groom's best man was his brother, James P. Hansen, from Tiburon, Calif. The groomsmen were Thomas T. Hansen from Raleigh, N.C.; Mark D. Hansen from Muscatine, Iowa; brothers of the groom; and William C. Britts II, the bride's brother, from Palo Alto, Calif.
Carol K. Stoneman from Redondo Beach, Calif., and Thomas Hansen presented readings during the ceremony.
Ushers included Randall Breitenbach from Hermosa Beach, Calif.; David Cremin from Los Angeles, Calif.; Stuart Engs, Jr. from Las Vegas, Nev.; and Halbert Washburn from Manhattan Beach, Calif.
The bride graduated from Salem High School, Roanoke College, and the T.C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, Va. The groom is the son of Lois and David M. Hansen from Cedar Falls, Iowa. The groom graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., and The John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles. The newlyweds will live in Playa del Ray, Calif., after their honeymoon tour of northern Italy.
