HIKEN-PIERCE

Susan Ann Pierce and James Nathan Hiken were married May 15, 1993, in a garden ceremony at the Pingree Estate, South Hamilton, Massachusetts, withJustice Susan Greene officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas E. Pierce of Roanoke. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hiken of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Escorted by her father and mother, the bride wore a traditional gown ofimported lace and tulle, detailed withreembroidered alencon, pearls and beaded appliques. The matron of honor was the bride's sister, Dawn Pierce Ebaugh of Tampa, Florida. The best man was Cosimo Storniolo, M.D., of Rochester, N.Y.

The bride is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Florida State University. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and is specializing as aDiagnostic Medical Sonographer at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Mass.

The groom is a graduate of theUniversity of Wisconsin and theUniversity of Wisconsin School ofMedicine. Dr. Hiken is currently asenior resident at Harvard University, specializing in Radiology at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Mass.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds will make their home inBoston, Mass.
