JOHNSON-WOOLWINE
Karen Woolwine and Barry Johnson were married June 26, 1993, in Cambria
Baptist Church. Dr. Maurice McCarthy performed the ceremony. The reception was
held at Custom Catering. The matron of honor was Anne Stublen, friend of the
bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy Young, Lisa Brown, and Carrie Bradshaw, friends
of the bride, and Vicki Johnson, sister-in-law of the groom. Flowergirl was
Carmen Reedy, friend of the groom. The best man was Tom Johnson, father of the
groom. Ushers were Greg Johnson and Andrew Johnson, brothers of the groom,
Mike Woolwine and David Woolwine, brothers of the bride. Ringbearer was
Charles Miller, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were David Woolwine
and Mike Woolwine. The guestbook was attended by Ina Shelton. The bride is a
daughter of Jim and Eva Woolwine, of Lawrence, Kansas. She is a graduate of
Auburn High School and Virginia Tech - Bain Elementary Education. The groom is
a son of Tom and Nancy Johnson, of Christiansburg, Virginia. He graduated from
Auburn High School and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia
Military Institute. After the wedding trip to Hawaii, the newlyweds will live
in Lynchburg.
