ROGERS-MENDIZABAL

Rocio Mendizabal and Robert Jett Rogers, Jr., were married Saturday, June 26, 1993, at seven o'clock in the evening in Jessie Ball duPont Chapel, Hollins College, Virginia. The Reverend James E. Parke officiated. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Alexander's in Roanoke, Virginia.

Maite Mendizabal, sister of the bride, and Amaya Shoup-Mendizabal, the bride's daughter, attended the bride. Christopher Goddard Rogers and Scott Harrison Rogers, brothers of the groom, served as best men for the groom. Groomsmen were Jon Shoup-Mendizabal and Alexander Shoup-Mendizabal, the bride's sons.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Juan Cruz Mendizabal of Indiana, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Arts in International Affairs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The groom is the son of Mrs. William Andrew Dickinson and the late Judge Robert Jett Rogers of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and Princeton University. He received his Masters of Fine arts in English from the University of Virginia.

After a wedding trip to Antiqua, the couple will live in Alexandria, Virginia.
