OBIT LINKOUS, HARRY JR.
LINKOUS, Harry Jr., 65, of Route 1, Riner, died Saturday night, June 26,
1993, at his home. He retired from New River Textiles, after 45 years service.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah A. Linkous; two sons, Tom Linkous, Doug
Linkous, both of Radford; two daughters, Mrs. James I. (Carolyn) Jones, Mrs.
Ronnie H. (Rita) Nunley, both of Riner; three sisters, Mrs. Bob (Nancy) Ritter
of Floyd, Mrs. Oliver (Betty) Chambers, Radford, Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Largen,
Christiansburg; two brothers, Bobby Linkous, Roanoke, Lewis Linkous, Manassas;
ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford, conducted by Pastor Jerry
Gibson with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Friends may
call after noon on Monday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, and the family
will receive friends there from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that memorials be made to New River Valley Hospice,
Blacksburg, Va. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne in
Christiansburg.
