The thefts occurred during the day when the residents were out of their homes, Lt. Jackie Roop said.
There were no signs of forced entry, so doors likely were left unlocked.
Roop said the thefts provide an opportunity to remind residents to lock their houses and report suspicious activities, cars or people in their neighborhoods.
Police would rather investigate possible suspicious activities than have someone lose their possessions, Roop said.
Anyone with information about these break-ins or other possible criminal activity may call the Police Department's crime line at 731-3627. All calls are confidential.
