FIREWORKS DEVICES RECALLED AS UNSAFE

An additional 10,600 racks of fireworks have been added to a giant pre-Fourth-of-July recall of devices that can tip over and fire toward onlookers, government regulators said Monday.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said it had no reports of deaths or injuries from the fireworks, but similar products caused two deaths two years ago.

The recall covers China Pyrotechnics' Magnum Force and Gold Rush sets; B.J. Alan's Phantom Brand Cosmic Eruption; and Atlas Imports' Night Shell, Gorilla Bomb and Gorilla Bomb II.
